My name is Mariyam Faiha Afzal and I am a recent graduate from Taylors University where I have completed my Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Interior Architecture. I possess a deep passion bright colours, art and incorporating different elements into design. I am particularly fond of birds and individuals who possess unwavering passion. Throughout my academic journey, my fascination has solely been drawn towards Interior Architecture, particularly resort and residential area design as well as public spaces I am eager to contribute my expertise in concept design to these areas.

DHIFFUSHI GUESTHOUSE
The design for this was chosen by considering the surrounding natural beauty as well as the clients love for Moroccan themed spaces. There are options for warm and cool toned spaces and the client went with the greener option but with neutral wall colours so that it would be subtle with a pop of colour and not to overwhelm the guests.
HITHADHOO HOUSE
The plan was to make a house for relaxing on holiday with muted colours for the desired effect. The client wished to have a more simple and minimalistic view for their home in Hithadhoo.
It was a simple layout for a two-bedroom house with importance given to the bedroom area and less space allocated for the kitchen/dining area.
BCC RETAIL OUTLET
Authentic Maldives is a brand that sells souvenirs to tourists and locals which has a shop at the Airport. The company proposed a new design for a branch opening in Hulhumale Centro Mall.
